Empties #1

I've never done an empties post before but lately I've started getting the urge to streamline my skincare and makeup (overflowing drawers are an issue) and felt I had to document the products I'm getting rid of...or indeed the ones I've repurchased for my newly reduced beauty arsenal!

Avon Solutions Hydra Beyond Gel Cream / £7.50 - I reviewed this little beauty in full here, and it's safe to say I enjoyed every last application of this light hydrating gel. It absorbs so quickly and moisturises my combo skin perfectly without being sticky or greasy. I've not repurchased this fab gel yet since I have so many other moisturisers to use up, but it's definitely a contender when I've used up all my others!

L'Oréal True Match Foundation / £9.99 - One of the only foundations I will repurchase again and again, this formula rivals even the most high end foundations out there! It is incredibly lightweight and easy to blend, there are so many true-to-skin shades to choose from, and it offers a great amount of coverage and wear. I actually can't believe I've not written a full review of this yet, despite it featuring in many of my makeup posts, but lo and behold I've already restocked this little beauty so look out for a review soon!

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover / £17 - Whilst I really enjoyed using this makeup remover, I doubt I'll be repurchasing it since there have been so many great highstreet micellar water releases recently - I can now get the same effect for a fraction of the price! That isn't to say that I didn't enjoy it though, because it truly did remove makeup from lashes, lids and lips like a dream with its foolproof formula.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara / £7.99 - You know it's a match made in lash heaven when I repurchase a mascara since I normally switch them up every few weeks! The brush reaches every last lash and the curve ensures the curliest, flirtiest eyelashes. As for the formula, it is blacker than black and holds a curl perfectly without flaking, drooping or fading. Definitely one of my all-time favourites!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo / £15.50 - You can read a full review of this here, but for now I'll say that it's definitely repurchase material! It prevents and heals blemishes beautifully, leaving pores unclogged and skin feeling fresh and clean. The lightweight formula doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and it's the only product I go to when I have a breakout! I need to restock this little baby asap!

What did you use up this month?
