Review: Arbonne Chocolate Protein Shakes +20% Off Code!

You may have seen my huge Arbonne Haul post last week where I tried loads of fab products from the vegan, plant-based brand Arbonne. Well, I loved these protein shakes so much that I went on to buy a dozen more - let me tell you why I think they beat any other protein shake hands down...

These ready-to-go shakes contain 20g of high quality protein per bottle which is comparable with most high quality whey isolate proteins, but has the advantage of being appropriate for vegans since it's made from peas and rice as opposed to being a by-product of milk. Not only this, it is high in fibre, is fat-free, and is lower in calories than most whey proteins per 100ml, coming in at about 180kcal per bottle! It also contains antioxidants that aren't available in animal proteins, and over 20 vitamins and minerals, including branch chain amino acids which are vital for the effectiveness of any protein shake. In short, it is all you could need from your protein shake!

I know what you're thinking - protein shakes are great but they aren't half difficult to drink! Well, let me tell you, these chocolate-flavoured shakes really are delicious - if you didn't tell me what it was, I would genuinely think it was just a delicious chocolate milkshake! Even better, as someone who has used a lot of whey proteins, I find this a lot easier to digest and doesn't cause any of the bloating or nausea that comes with whey. In fact, it is so easy to drink that I am happy to drink them first thing in the morning which is pretty much unheard of for me!

The shake formula is also available in a powder form that you can mix yourself, but I like the easy grab-and-go feel of these. Okay, so they're a little on the pricey side, but for those of you who are au fait with the protein world, you'll know how expensive these things can be and why they are so worth the money! And with my exclusive 20% discount, I would really recommend giving them a go!

The lovely Claire has allowed my readers a huge 20% off their first order, so please get in touch with her at claireeaden@hotmail.com to redeem it!

*This post was not sponsored at all - I bought the shakes with my own money and do not get any compensation in any way; I genuinely do just love the shakes!*

  1. Okay, these sound fantastic! One of the problems I have with my favourite whey powder is that it does, like you say also, leave me feeling bloated and somewhat sick even though it is lactose free.
Definitely going to email Claire! Thanks for the review, I've never heard of this brand before!

    1. I'm so glad to hear that - that bloated feeling is such a disincentive to drink protein so it's great to have an alternative without the sick feeling! They really do taste great as well! I am absolutely positive you'll love them - let me know how they work out for you! Xx
