Weight Loss Wednesday: Starting Again!

I used to have a series called Weight Loss Wednesday where I documented my weight loss and shared my tips and tricks with you, but life got in the way and it got a little neglected. But now I'm back for good (sorry for the Take That reference), and these posts were one of my favourites to write and kept me really motivated! So, shall we start over?

Every Wednesday from now on, you can expect to see weekly updates of my weight loss, photos and recipes for my delicious healthy meals, and tricks and tips I learn along the way! I'm sure to find some little motivational tidbits as I go, so I'm really excited to share them with you too.

Now, my weight isn't something I'm massively fussed over - I've never been super skinny or fat, nor do I wish to be. But for the past few months, I have been feeling quite unhealthy, sluggish and generally unsatisfied, and that's no way to live your life! So the aim is to shed a few extra pounds I'm holding on to, as well as get the right nutrition for my body and exercise more in the hopes that I'll feel generally better and more energised.

In my old Weight Loss Wednesday posts, I was on a Weight Watchers plan which I really enjoyed. and comes highly recommended by me if you want easy, consistent weight loss with guidelines. This time, though, I'm going to try and teach myself about nutrients and feed my body the things I need to be fit and healthy. I'll be keeping track of all this on the MyFitnessPal app on my iPhone so I can measure my calories, nutrients and water levels - this little baby is becoming my new best friend!

To kick start and detox my body ready for losing weight, I will be starting with a 14 Day Teatox by Slendertox Tea, so for the first two weeks you will see how I'm getting on with this (and maybe a little review of it after). This Teatox is a herbal, organic tea which claims to detoxify, cleanse, boost metabolism, burn calories and reduce appetite (that's a mouthful!) so if it works I should be given a great motivational boost to start my weight loss!
