Review: Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

On a recent trip to Edinburgh (haul post here) I popped in to the Kiehl's store and came out with their Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, an eye cream that's sat idly on my wishlist for years but I never quite got round to buying. Oh, how I regret that long wait now!

Review: MAC Burgundy Times Nine Palette

When I saw MAC was releasing a selection of permanent, smaller-sized palettes to their selection I was incredibly excited, and after much deliberation regarding the different colourways, I settled on the Burgundy Times Nine palette. Isn't she a beauty?

Weight Loss Wednesday: Starting Again!

I used to have a series called Weight Loss Wednesday where I documented my weight loss and shared my tips and tricks with you, but life got in the way and it got a little neglected. But now I'm back for good (sorry for the Take That reference), and these posts were one of my favourites to write and kept me really motivated! So, shall we start over?

Review: Illamasqua Multi Facet Palette in Aura

Recently featured in my April 2015 Favourites, the Illamasqua Multi Facet Palette in Aura has become a firm staple in my makeup routine, and I'm sure you can see why I love it so much.

Edinburgh Haul! MAC, Kiehl's, Next, Primark, Iconemesis & more!

If you follow me on Twitter (@LucysBeautyBlog) you'll know I recently took a 2 day trip to Edinburgh and had an accidental shopping spree and bought myself all sorts of goodies. Well, who can blame me?

The Ultimate Bra Fitting Guide

Did you know that a poorly fitted bra not only looks unflattering, but can also cause bad posture, sagging and adversely affect the overall health of your breasts? Scary, huh? Even scarier when you consider that most women in the UK are wearing the wrong size bra! So I've done some research and asked around, and come up with the ultimate guide to bra fitting, with a little help from my friends at Playtex.

My Little Provence Box May 2015

If you read my review of last month's My Little Box (here), you'll know it's a treat I really look forward to every month. May's box is based on the gorgeous French region of Provence - expect all things chic, sunny and ever so relaxed!

My Gym Bag Essentials!

We all know it's important to get moving and work yourself into a sweat to get that summer body and reap the health benefits, but there's no denying that it can be a fairly tedious affair, so I wanted to share with you the products I wouldn't be seen in the gym without! Here are my top product picks to make the gym a little more bearable...

Spring, The Time For Fresh Starts And Fake Tan

*This is a guest blog post from the lovely Nathalie from Help I'm Getting Married*

So you can tell just how thrilled everyone is at this mini Spring heatwave by the sheer volume of Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest pictures of parks, skies and very importantly, legs! And while I don’t blame them, I do slightly resent how gorgeous all those pinned pins look, I mean, only last week we were in the depths of winter!

Pink Parcel May 2015

It is a truth universally acknowledged that periods suck, but the Pink Parcel subscription service helps to soften the blow slightly by sending a monthly care package with your supply of tampons/sanitary towels as well as some goodies to cheer you up. Suddenly that time of the month seems less daunting.

OOTD: Weekday Casual

So much of my time is spent picking outfits and matching my makeup and accessories, but sometimes there's something to be said for a comfy, casual look for doing the chores!

How to Run a Successful Beauty Blog

I am by no means the authority on blogging and I certainly do not have as many readers as other blogs, but I do know that each of the tips below have helped me grow my blog, increase engagement and give me a sense of personal achievement in my blogging - maybe they'll help you too?

My Little Dream Box April 2015

You might remember last year I fell head over heels with My Little Box, being rather impressed with the Diane von Furstenberg edition (review here). This time I'm back with an equally positive review of the oh-so-adorable Dreams version!

Candle Collection: Parks Aromatherapy Eucalyptus & Juniper

I love using candles to relax and calm my senses, and of course I love the classic berry and yummy citrus scents that you can pick up just about anywhere, but there is nothing that relaxes me more than an aromatherapy candle, and this one from Parks is pure luxury.

April 2015 Favourites!

This is actually my first Monthly Favourites post - I know, I'm late to the party - and it is not least for the fact that I buy so many products a month it's hard to keep track! But I've given myself a big kick up the bum, and this month I've kept track! *pats self on back*

Review: Garnier Pure Active Matte Control Moisturiser

I'm forever on the lookout for a good moisturiser for my combination skin, and there have been a few along the way that I've really liked and continue to use, but none have kept my skin quite as mattified and blemish-free as this one from Garnier!

Pamper Sunday: Green Tea Detox

It's been a long while since I posted a Pamper Sunday - mostly because I've not had much time to pamper, even on a Sunday! - but since moving back home I have allowed myself some me time, and after a long hard week there's nothing I enjoy more than detoxing with green tea!

Beauty Lust List #10: White Bedroom Decor Edition!

Ahh I love a wishlist, and since I've recently redecorated my bedroom, I wanted to make a list of the finishing touches I'd like to add. Although not "beauty" items, I'm adding it to my Beauty Lust List series anyway because, well, they're beautiful!
