FOTD: Barbie Pink Lips!

My outfit for work today was black and white so I wanted to add a pop of colour - and what better way than bright Barbie pink lips?
I always start off with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, and use Benefit Boi-ing on blemishes and under my eyes as a base. Today, I decided to retry Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation as it failed to impress me first time round and I wanted to give it another go - this time, with the primer, it was much better in terms of finish and longevity but coverage wasn't up to much. To seal my base in, I dusted a bit of MAC Mineralize Natural Powder over my T-zone and was oil-free all day!

To build on my base, I lightly swiped the rouge shade from the Sleek Blush by3 Pumpkin Palette, which adds a perfect pop to the cheeks which lasts all day. For contouring and a bit of bronze, I sculpted my cheekbones with my trusty Chanel Bronze Universel and went over with ELF Bronzer in Matte Bronze to seal it in - for me, this is a match made in sunkissed heaven!

I've been experimenting with the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette lately, and today I aimed for a subtle pink-toned shimmer on my lids. I filled my lid in "Burnout", swiped a little "Factory" in the crease and "Strange" on the inner corner for a simple but pretty eye. I followed up with a little Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner along my lashline, then my all-time favourite Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara finished the look.

The focal point of my look was my bright pink matte lips, which lasted all day without bleeding, rubbing off or cracking! The Revlon Balm Stains are my favourite lip product, and the matte version is amazing! The shade is called Showy, which is a blue-toned almost neon pink and is super flattering and bright! I absolutely love it!

What was your look today?
