Summer Edit: Handbags!

Strictly speaking, this is a beauty blog. However, it should
be no surprise by now that I am almost as obsessed with handbags as
I am with beauty me, that is not easy (especially on
my bank balance). I have quite a large collection of
handbags, many of which are super bright and summery. Here are
my pick of the best for summer handbags. Be warned: I don't do
boring bags!

Farthest left is my gorgeous mini shoulder bag
which I bought from Miss Selfridge a long, long time ago. I know
it is a good seller though, because they still sell the exact same
style each year in various colours. This cute little bag is
lovely and sturdy, and fits everything I need in. It also perks up
any outfit effortlessly, so it is my go-to on those days where all
I need is my phone and keys.

The next little yellow bag is actually my iPad case, but it really
brightens up my outfit when I take my iPad out in it, and
nobody can ever tell it is an iPad case because it just looks like
a clutch bag. I bought this from Amazon, and I think
it is definitely the prettiest iPad case/clutch I've ever seen.

My newest, and most favourite, purchase is this beautiful
pastel blue/green large tote bag from Accessorize. It has loads of
compartments for all of your things, including a gorgeous little
envelope pocket on the front. This bag is spacious, sturdy and
beautiful, making it my everyday bag. It will take something
pretty special to take over from this beauty!

Another great find from Accessorize is this amazing
oversize clutch with a lime yellow/green pop of colour on the
insides of the envelope flaps. This bag has a gorgeous silky interior, and
more than enough space for all of your things, making it great for a night
out. It also comes with a cute little chain strap which can be tucked inside the
bag when not in use, and an inside compartment for your phone.
This bag is one of my favourites to wear, because it mixes
fun with a bit of glamour.

My bright pink ostrich print bag is a super fun addition
to any outfit, but I like to be careful when choosing what I wear it with
to avoid looking too "Barbie". But with a fairly plain outfit,
it really adds a gorgeous summery pop of colour, which is always
welcome in my opinion. It is also really nice and spacious, with a good
metal clasp at the top, and a zipped compartment in the back. I bought this
from Missguided, but a lot of places sell similar styles.

My lovely Dad bought me this cute quilted cream bag with a
chain strap as a nice little surprise, and I absolutely love it. It is
very plain and so can be worn with basically anything, and trust me, this
bag has had a LOT of use! It has 2 zip compartments, and a further 2
compartments inside, making it super organised. Perfect! This is also from
Miss Selfridge, but other shops sell their own version too.

Lastly, this River Island bowler bag was a purchase I made
with some vouchers I got for my birthday. It is nice and roomy
inside, with a gorgeous interior and an additional
long strap to enable it to be worn as a shoulder bag. I think that
the blue and green mix really nicely together with the grey colour, and
it is just a fun bag to lighten your mood.

I would love to see your summer bag picks!
