Review: MUA Undressed Palette

With the release of the MUA Undress Me Too palette,
I thought it was only right to talk about the Undressed palette first before
reviewing the new one.

So, I'm sure you all know by now,
the Undressed palette is basically a dupe for the much coveted Urban Decay Naked
Palette. At first I was a little dubious - how can it
compare at only £4? Well, let me tell you - it MORE than

Okay so the packaging cannot attempt to match
the beauty of the Naked palette, but it is small and sleek and
has its own simple charm. Each of the 12 shades corresponds more
or less perfectly to the Naked palette, and the formula
really isn't too incomparable - the formula of the MUA shadows
are lovely and blendable with tonnes of
staying power.

The shade range includes lights, darks, mattes and shimmers, all
in really generous sized pans. You can definitely spend
a looooong time playing around with this palette
to create loads of different looks for daytime and nighttime (trust me).

I have found I use this palette most of all my palettes, which
is pretty unbelievable since I own a lot of high-end palettes. Basically,
I think that says it all!

A cute palette filled with 12 absolutely beautiful
shades for only £4? How can you say no? I'm smitten!

Stay tuned for the follow up, Undress Me Too palette...

  1. Great photos! I love MUA shadows and have been using one every day for ages. It recently broke though so looks really tatty and is terrible for traveling so I might move them into a different palette! Shadows are great quality for the price though :) Rachael

    1. Oh no that's a shame, it definitely is worth buying though! I love your blog, following x

  2. I know this sounds blasphemous, but the UD Naked palette actually had shades that looked chalky on me. This looks a lot more promising, from your swatches.

    1. Wow that is a bold claim... But I totally agree! I think I actually prefer the MUA palette when you take the price in to account x

  3. very insightful!

check out my new beauty blog!

  4. The colours are gorgeous!! I'm thinking of buying the UD palette but you've made me think twice... x

  5. I'm glad to hear it, the UD palette is pretty to look at but really I can't tell a difference! I am also doing a follow up to this with the new palette that is a dupe for UD 2 palette so I will post that soon! Xxx
